Top 10 Mad River Distillers Daiquiri Recipes
A daiquiri is a cocktail made from three main ingredients—rum, citrus (typically lime juice) and simple syrup (or another sweetener). It’s simple enough. You could combine just these three ingredients and enjoy an easy daiquiri whenever the mood strikes. However, the opportunities for creating flavored daiquiris are nearly endless. With rum infusions, flavored simple syrups, garnishes, or different juices, you can create a wide variety of daiquiri options that range from slightly sour to sweet and fruity.
At the Mad River Distillers Burlington Tasting Room, we love creating new daiquiri recipes from products we carry right in our retail section. It’s a great way to incorporate cocktail products that we love, right into the drinks we serve at our bar. Below is a list of ten daiquiri recipes we’ve developed, some of which incorporate products that you can find at our Tasting Room, others of which are made by infusing our rums. Infusing rum is a process that can take anywhere from an hour to a week, so while some of these recipes take advance planning, you’ll find that the flavor resulting from an infusion is well worth the effort and wait.

Then, add the pineapple and 2 cups of sugar back to the pan, and simmer on low heat, stirring often for 10 minutes. Be sure to keep the pineapple pieces away from the flame during the charring process. Strain, and let the pineapple syrup cool before using.
